"There are an infinite number of reasons why I like to do photography.
It seems like each time I capture an image, that number increases by at least one more reason.
Here are a few of reasons why i like to do photography:
Sometimes life is daunting, like living in a war zone where hundreds of dead bodies lie. However someone, usually a photographer, has to capture devastation in time so the dead have not died in vain.
I feel photography can help the world understand the illness of the war.
Photographers record history and preserve it for future generations to see, enjoy, or interpret as they please.
It’s one thing to experience history in the making as a photographer, it’s another to witness it and capture it all at the same time.
I feel photography allows me to experience history in my own time.
Photography is powerful. It can change the world view on some major things or some individual thing that is so minute.
Regardless, photography has an impact on emotions, values, beliefs and sometimes even faith. Photography has helped me rebuild my self esteem."
